Chapel of the Proclamation Mosaics

Project Details

Masterfully designed by JNKA Architects, the Chapel of the Proclamation at Relevant Radio's Lincolnshire headquarters blends traditional Catholic design with a modern aesthetic, reflecting the Church's theology and Relevant Radio’s mission of "Bringing Christ to the world through the media." This 70-seat chapel hosts daily televised Masses and the Rosary Across America, serving as a focal point for prayer and broadcast devotion. We had the honor of creating the Altar, Ambo, Our Lady of Guadalupe Mosaic, Holy Spirit Mosaic in the Tabernacle Niche, Crucifix and Stations of the Cross, as well as other items.  The Altar and Ambo incorporate 4 different types of marble (Dark Emperador, Breccia Oniciata, Nero Marquina, Botticino), and featured on the Altar is a bronze relief of the Last Supper flanked by Reliquaries containing relics of St. Faustina and St. Josemaría Escrivá.  Collaboration with Fr. Rocky was essential in each step of this project; culminating and highlighted especially in his meticulous attention to detail in the creation of the central image of Our Lady of Guadalupe (created in Venetian Glass Mosaic).  Countless hours were spent in this special place, and it is a true honor to have had a hand in its creation.

Customer Story

This is the fourth time in twenty years that I have worked with Inspired Artisans on chapel projects. They have brought innovative solutions to enhance the worship experience, and the artisans they use for Mosaics and Marble work are excellent.
